I'm participating in this competition for the first time, and it's NARUTO!! I will challenge it with all my might, putting my heart into it while recalling the time when I spent my summer festival practicing the Rasengan jutsu with water balloons I bought.

- Please tell us why you became a figure sculptor.
- During my university days, I had the chance to visit the home of a freelance figure sculptor (my current mentor) due to a miraculous connection. I was shown a prototype in progress, and was deeply impressed. That moment became the trigger for me. I thought, "Making a living with sculpting skills...! Amazing...! I want to become a figure sculptor too!"
- Please tell us why you decided to sculpt your particular character.
- The character I chose is the protagonist of a work I was deeplygrossed in since elementary school, so I had a strong emotional connection to it. Among them, I particularly liked Naruto with goggles in the early stages of the work, and I've wanted to create that image for a long time, so I chose it!
- What specific part of your work would you like people to pay attention to this time?
- I would like people to pay attention to the facial expressions and posing. I wanted this work to become a piece that symbolizes the beginning of Naruto's story, depicting what kind of boy Naruto is and what future lies ahead. I put a lot of effort into it!

It's a great honor to have participated in this competition and receive the Special Recognition Award! Although I do feel a bit disappointed, I'm extremely satisfied that I was able to convey the expression I wanted to create to Naruto and figure fans alike!
