I never thought I would participate in a sculpting competition that I had always admired, so I put all my current skills into it! While I have the desire to win, I would be most happy if as many people as possible find what I made cool. I hope things get exciting!! Thank you very much!!!

WINNERS
INTERVIEWCHAMPION

First of all, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who voted for and supported "Kakashi Hatake" in the amazing series "Naruto" created by Masashi Kishimoto-sensei! Of course I approached this competition with the determination to win, but I never expected to actually win, so when I saw the results, I was so surprised that I almost blacked out (laughs).

This Kakashi figure was a culmination of my sincere efforts to capture his coolness, so I'm really glad that my feelings were conveyed to everyone!

Also, I received a lot of supportive messages before entering this competition, so I'm extremely happy to be able to deliver the winning piece with pride! I'll use this victory as motivation and will strive to continue to create cool figures in the future!!
Thank you so much!!!

INTERVIEW

Please tell us why you became a figure sculptor.
I was heavily influenced by Ichibankuji and BANPRESTO figures that I encountered in junior high school. I discovered the profession of a figure sculptor and researching it led to a growing admiration for it. From there I began creating my own figures. I officially started as a figure sculptor when I won an award in the New Figure Sculptor Discovery Project called FIGURE SCULPTOR ROOKIES, held in 2021.
Please tell us why you decided to sculpt your particular character.
While despite being generally laid-back, Kakashi becomes a reliable and powerful teacher when needed. The contrast is genuinely cool, which is why I chose him. The Kakashi I sculpted is from a scene where he fights Obito, who was absorbed by Black Zetsu, during the Ninja World War. I found his appearance, including the costume, fighting until his limits to be cool, so I chose this scene.
What specific part of your work would you like people to pay attention to this time?
The intricate details and momentum are what I want people to notice. Since it's a "sculpting" of the Ninja World War, I crafted it meticulously, considering the balance between the details and the art style that Kishimoto-sensei illustrates.
